Linda Andrisani’s memorial service set

The Capital Challenge Horse Show in Maryland will host a memorial service at 6 p.m. Sept. 28 in the Show Place Arena for judge, trainer and consummate horsewoman Linda Andrisani, who died last month after a long battle with cancer.

Those who wish to attend should RSVP at this link.

Linda and her partner, the late Jack Stedding, produced wonderful horses and riders. She also was nearly as well-known for her fashion sense as she was for her horse sense and her freely offered excellent advice.

The winner of the U.S.Hunter Jumper Association’s lifetime achievement award in 2023, Linda “epitomized the definition of achievement; doing a thing successfully, typically with skill, effort and most importantly, with courage, and that’s 100 percent Linda,” as National Hunter Hall of Fame President Jimmy Lee put it.
