Fan favorite stallion United Touch S is sidelined

The fabulous show jumper United Touch S is under veterinary care after developing an infection, according to Richard Vogel Sporthorses.
United developed “an infection that requires ongoing treatment and close monitoring. He is receiving the very best care, and we are working closely with our veterinary team to support his recovery in every way possible.

“At this stage, it is too early to determine the timeline for his recovery. United’s health and well-being are, and will remain, our absolute priority.

“We know how much United means to so many people around the world, and we are very grateful for the concern, support and understanding being shown for him. We will share a further update as soon as there is meaningful progress to report.”

United, a 14-year-old Westfalen by Untouched, has represented Germany in major championships under the guidance of Richard’, the European champion. The horse was on the winning team in the World Championships at Aachen in August, and won the Rolex grand prix there earlier in the year.
